As a Patriotic American and a loyal constituent, I am writing to urge your support for the American Military Heroes Act – 2026, a non-partisan piece of legislation that honors the extraordinary sacrifices made by our Armed Forces.

This Act proposes four resolutions:

Resolution I — Veterans Day as a National Holiday on Election Day:
Designating the 2nd Tuesday of November as Veterans Day — coinciding with Election Day — to remind future generations of the sacrifice made to secure their right to vote.

Resolution II — Lifetime Tax Exemption for Families of the Fallen:
Exempting the immediate surviving family members (mothers, fathers, and spouses) of Armed Forces members killed in a declared military conflict from all future Federal Income Tax for the rest of their lives.

Resolution III — Tax Relief for Permanently Disabled Veterans:
Providing a Federal Income Tax exemption equal to the percentage of disability for veterans who have suffered a permanent debilitating injury in military conflict.

Resolution IV — Tax Relief for Families of POW & MIA Service Members:
Exempting the families of POW/MIA service members from Federal Income Tax for the duration of their loved one's declared status.

I believe these resolutions represent a meaningful and long-overdue acknowledgment of the immeasurable debt our Nation owes to those who have served. Each resolution is carefully targeted to honor a specific category of sacrifice — the fallen, the disabled, and those still unaccounted for.
